The Moore Yurts Story
It began in 2018 with a crazy idea: a pop-up pizza kitchen housed inside an authentic Mongolian yurt in Moore Park, Toronto. The goal? To bring people together around a roaring fire, just like in the old days.
Today, Moore Yurts Pizzeria has moved to a permanent brick-and-mortar location on Queen St, but we kept the name and the soul. We believe pizza should be simple, rustic, and slightly wild. Our dough is naturally leavened for 48 hours, and our toppings celebrate the Canadian seasons.
We aren't fast food. We are good food, cooked fast by fire. Welcome to our table.

Do you really cook in a Yurt?
We started in a yurt! Now we operate out of a commercial kitchen designed with rustic aesthetics, using the same wood-fired techniques we perfected in the backyard.
Is your dough gluten-free?
We offer a cauliflower-based gluten-friendly crust for our 12" pizzas. Please note that while the crust is gluten-free, our kitchen handles flour.
